Staying Connected

Did you get any good travel gifts? Post your great gifts and gift ideas in the comment section connected to this post.

Have you started fundraising? One of our travelers has raised over $400.00 already! Bake sales at Greenfield Banking the first Friday of each month is a great way to get on board.

Do you know someone interested in going on the trip? The $200.00 discount has been extended to January 4th.

Our next group meeting will focus on Italy's art and architecture on February 24th.

First Fundraiser

Our first fundraising event will be at Greenfield Banking. We are slotted for bake sales on the first Friday of each month, from 9 am-5 pm, or until we run out of goodies. You can either bring baked goods to me the evening before (715 N. East Street), or drop them off at the bank in the morning or during your lunch hour. Please email me back and let me know that you can donate baked goods for our first one on January 8th, 2010. They should be packaged individually (ziplocs are good), or if you want to sell a whole pie or something, that is fine, too. I can price items once they arrive. If a few of you could volunteer to man the sale for a few hours, that would be great, too. Just let me know what times you would be available!

Thanks!

Fundraising Update

We all came up with some great ideas! Please email me back to let me know if you are interested in helping with fund-raising, if you have personal contacts who can assist us in this endeavor, or if you have thought of other ideas since we met. You do not need to respond if you do not plan to participate. Only those participating in the fundraising events will be able to benefit from the monies raised.

Our next meeting will be at the GCHS Cougar Meeting Room at 6:00 pm on December 3, 2009. Please join us if interested, and were not able to stay after the meeting last night. The sooner we get started, the more money we can make! Thanks to everyone for their assistance!
